Detailed Grelinette 2 dents review

I ordered the Grelinette 2 dents for my smaller garden beds and for breaking up compacted areas. The ordering process on the website was straightforward, no issues there. Shipping took about 9 business days to the East Coast, which was within their estimated window. The tool arrived well-packaged, protected from any damage during transit. Upon inspection, the craftsmanship is excellent; the ash handle is smooth and securely fitted, and the forged steel tines are robust. I used it to aerate a new section of my garden, and it worked efficiently, easily penetrating the soil without requiring excessive force. Cleanup was simple. I contacted customer service once with a question about maintenance, and they responded within a day with helpful advice. Overall, a high-quality tool and a good buying experience. It's an investment, but it feels like it will last decades.

Solid Grelinette

Bought a Grelinette 3 dents. Arrived safely. Works as expected in my garden. Good quality tool.

Good value for a quality tool

I was looking for a good broadfork and decided on the Grelinette 4 dents. The price was a bit higher than some others, but the reviews mentioned the quality. I signed up for their newsletter and got a small discount for my first order which helped. Shipping wasn't free, but it felt reasonable for an international package. It arrived pretty fast, about a week and a half. The tool itself is really sturdy. I used it all over my garden, and it makes a big difference. For the quality, I think it was definitely worth the money.

Consistent quality, worth it

This was my third purchase from Pailheres, this time a Grelinette à dents interchangeables. As usual, the quality is top-notch. I've had their 4-dent model for years, and it's still going strong. This new one lets me swap out the teeth, which is a nice upgrade for different soil types. Delivery was pretty much on par with my previous orders, maybe 8-9 days. They're reliable, and while the price point is higher than some alternatives, you really do get what you pay for in terms of durability and craftsmanship. I keep coming back for a reason.

Good tool, slow delivery

I ordered a Grelinette 4 dents a few weeks ago. The tool itself is solid, really well-made, feels like it will last a long time. It definitely makes turning the soil easier than a regular spade. My only real complaint was the shipping time; it took about 10 days to reach California, which felt a bit long. I understand it's coming from France, but I've had things arrive faster. Still, it's a quality product, and I'm happy with the purchase overall. Just plan for a bit of a wait.

Happy with my new tool

I finally got around to ordering one of those Grelinettes, the 5 dents one. Heard good things about them. It showed up last week, took about a week and a half which was fine. The packaging was good, no damage. Used it in my raised beds and it's pretty sweet. Definitely easier on the back than digging with a regular spade. My neighbor even asked about it. It just feels really sturdy, like something my grandpa would have used. No complaints here, I'm glad I got it.
